Concerns With Online Stores (January 31, 2012) Lately we have had several requests from online pharmacies that were trying to sell products to clients that we could not approve for one reason or another. With the ever increasing number of online “pharmacies” it is impossible for us to determine which is legitimate and selling FDA approved products. (It is illegal for us to knowingly approve a non-FDA product.) Heartworm medication sold thru online vendors is obtained via black market & may have problems with packaging, labeling, etc. Also, we have seen some try to sell expired or soon-to-expire product. According to manufacturers of the preventatives, they WILL NOT guarantee their product UNLESS it is purchased directly from the pet’s veterinarian. Because several clients have chosen to use online pharmacies, however, we have chosen 2 that we think have pretty good practices in place and these are where most requests come from. These are 800PetMeds and PetCareRx. Therefore, we cannot approve any faxed or phone request for any prescription refill unless it is from 1 of the 2 mentioned providers, or from our own online store (which comes directly from our own distributor so we know reputable, safe product is being delivered). To request a prescription from our online store, please register first - Online Store. Please know that we do try to keep our prices competitive with the major online stores. We appreciate your understanding regarding this matter but we have had several issues arise lately with a few of the less well-known sites. If you still decide you want to purchase from one of these stores, we can either mail you a prescription for a generic product or you can pick the prescription up yourself. Hopefully, however, you will reconsider when you realize some of the concerns we have. We would certainly hate to have you give a product that isn't effective (or potentially harmful) to your pet. February is National Pet Dental Health Month! In honor of this event, we will be offering 15% off the price of your pet's dental cleaning. We will match contributions made to these organizations ($500 per group). To be tax deductible, make checks out to the organization. Details are available at the reception desk. Visit Our Online Store! (October 25, 2011) Our online store is now open for all of our clients!!! In order to provide you with as many options as possible for your heartworm & flea products, diets (both prescription and routine), and several other products, as well as to have the option for home delivery, we have set up an online store. Rest assured your products will come from the same distributor that we use to get the majority of our products in-house, and that pricing is as competetive as possible. Standard shipping is free with any purchase (excluding diets) of $38.98 or more. To use the store, you will first need to register by clicking the link & requesting access. Please note that prescriptions will require approval prior to processing the order.
Please Welcome Dr. Deni Stallons !!! We are excited to announce that Dr. Deni Stallons has joined our team. She comes with excellent reviews and we are proud to have her with us. Starting this month, May 2011, Dr. Deni will be seeing appointments and performing surgery. For the time being, her hours will be limited to 3 days a week and alternating Saturdays. As of March 1st we will be open from 7am to 5pm on Monday, Wednesday & Friday and from 7am to 7pm on Tuesday & Thursday. We are also open from 8am to noon on Saturdays Hopefully the additional evening hours will benefit those clients who need later appointments! Please note we are no longer open until 7pm on Wednesdays!!!

The class is 6 weeks long and meets for an hour one night each week..

You are welcome to stop in for a tour at any time, and as quickly as we possibly can we'll show you around. Classroom Activities: Looking for someone to speak to your class about a pet related topic? Dr. Craig and Dr. Kimberly are also available to speak to classrooms on many issues involving pets. We welcome the opportunity to educate students of all ages on any of the following topics: basic pet care, caring for your dog, caring for your cat, which pet is right for me, pet safety, pet first aid, an introduction to reptiles, becoming & being a veterinarian, etc. Please contact us for availability. |

Our basic obedience class is taught by Jennifer Gunnarson, a certified veterinary technician and certified obedience trainer. Jennifer uses positive training techniques and teaches the basic commands such as sit, down, stay, & heel. This class is perfect for puppies, as well as adult dogs that need a “refresher” course.
